Last year Phoenix Court was awarded the gold award from the Green Business Tourism Scheme. We proudly display this award and tell our guests about our efforts to be green. But why do we do it?We love Scarborough and the planet we live on. North Yorkshire is a wonderful area to enjoy wildlife and the countryside; there are walks, such as the Cleveland Way, cycle routes, such as the old railway line to Whitby, numerous nature reserves and birdwatching sites.
If possible we do not want to do anything to damage the environment and we want as many people as possible to enjoy the area we live in and also leave it in good care for future generations.
